The Wizard Of Oz San Jose Theatre reviews
Kings Of Leon
The Wednesday night show at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio was disappointing for several reasons. The sound and view from section 308 was horrible, given the way in which the monitors hung in front of the video screens. There was some interesting stuff on those screens, except because of said monitor banks and supports, I missed at least 50% of it.
For the second half, the group of loudly talking women behind me nearly droned out The Wizard Of Oz with their incessant screaming and talking to one another. That and the standing and smoking loud fans disturbed the view in front of me for most of the first half of the show. I really like this band, but it wasn’t until I moved to a closed off area behind and to the right of the stage that I got a good view and actually found out that it did sound good in the venue, without the smoking and inconsiderate loud drunken people to spoil it for me.
